Wrap-up of Lost Final Episode

All I can say is wow. It’s hard to believe Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Jin, Sun , Sayid and the rest of the gang were all dead this whole time. From all the chatter on Twitter and Facebook, I know some fans feel a little duped, but I don’t. Well, maybe a little duped, but that’s part of the show’s charm. Just when you think you’ve got a character or situation figured out, the writers flipped the script and threw a curveball right past us. To me, that’s all a part of good storytelling. Nothing about Lost has been predictable. If you think about it, even the cast of characters was not typical. The casting directors went with mostly unknown actors from widely diverse cultures and created a community that worked. I have to say, as a writer, I’m impressed with what these storytellers were able to accomplish.

If you’re a Lost fan, what is your feeling regarding how the show ended? Was the ending satisfying for you? Do you still have unanswered questions chomping away in the back of your mind?

  1. It was great story telling–leaving us with questions even at the end.

  2. I don’t know about you, Carol, but I sure will miss that show. What a shame it had to end. 😦
